Meet the founder
Meet Doug, founder of Can 2 Curb.
Originally from Vancouver, Doug has spent his career solving practical problems and keeping things running smoothly. His background spans project management, broadband infrastructure, and the oil and gas industry, where he helped design and install energy-saving lighting control systems for major brands including Imperial Oil, Chevron, and Petro-Canada.
For the past decade, Doug has operated his own property management company in Edmonton, providing year-round maintenance for group homes, youth homes, and residential properties throughout the Magrath area.
It was through this hands-on experience that Doug noticed a simple but persistent problem: garbage, recycling, and food bins were constantly being forgotten, left at the curb all day, blocking parking, or becoming someone else's responsibility.
That problem became the idea behind Can 2 Curb.
Doug built Can 2 Curb to make bin day one less thing people have to think about. Reliable, practical, and rooted in years of property-management experience, it's a simple service designed to make life easier for homeowners, property managers, group homes, and anyone who could use a helping hand.
When he's not working, you'll probably find Doug on a motorcycle or hitting the ski slopes.
